AT&T is planning to start infrastructure upgrades and it will affect most homeowner's property. Please read the AT&T Neighborhood Notice. Please also read the HOA Installation file. This document describes the changes that are taking place. Please note that they will be putting door hangers on each residence prior to construction.

Here are the official Rivers Point Plantation Restrictive Covenants. All original homes in the neighborhood are bound to these covenants and owners should make every effort to comply.
An extrapolated version of the covenants can be found in the Documents area.

A small development of approximately 125 homes, Rivers Point Plantation is located in the heart of James Island, just minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach.

As with most of Charleston, and the surrounding area, history is a major element of the community. The property that Rivers Point Plantation has been established upon was at one time part of a large plantation. A brief history of our area and a fairly detailed history of Charleston has been compiled by one of our residents.
